The Vehicle switch panel along the transmission tunnel is made out of square ducting,
It’s made from a chrome coat rack, Rotary switches from maplin and savage push buttons from EBay. This looks great at night
All the chrome work comes from chrome bins
Audio control DQX mod. I’ve never liked the way the buttons navigate around the menu I felt it better with a joystick. Also I was after an install that was minimalist up front so I wanted a pop out EQ screen
The LCD connects to the main board of the DQX; I simply made a longer cable for this.
For the buttons they are 5 of the surface mount tactile type. I recreated this in a Sony joystick
